Happy 2nd Birthday Riley!!!

**Ok, so when I origionally posted this it read Riley's 1st Birthday. Apparently, I am having issues with my girl getting older. I have edited the post to reflect that she in did actually turn 2. We don't want her stuck as a year for too long.**
I can't believe our little girl is TWO years old. I still remember when the doctor announced "it's a girl" to which Randy quickly added, "and she has red hair." Riley has been such a blessing in our life. Her brothers love her so much and she loves them. We love you!!!

A beautiful day to celebrate!!!
My brother was having as much fun as the kids.

It was fun to be surrounded by friends and family. Even the missionaries came for dinner.

Riley loves Dora..so Dora cupcakes we had. My nephew Joshua helped put all the little picks in.
 She definately enjoyed.

Dylan getting ready for the water guns.

Did I mentioned she likes Disney too. She had fun discovering the pinata.

Loves her lolipop's.

She was loving her special day swimming, bubbles, and running around outside with friends.
Cousin Miriam

 Brandon chillin' out.
Cousins Kiana and Lorelai, gearing up for the water gun fight also.
Found the sidewalk chalk and taking her baby doll for a walk.
 Hanging out with Auntie Mandy.
Ended the day with a ride on the quad with daddy. She loves to do this. She is actually upset in the picture because he has stopped so I can get a picture.
A new birthday dress from our good friend Miss Chris.
Another one of her new outfits from our good friend Miss Chris.

Thanks to everyone who shared in Riley's special day!

California Trip

In May I was able to go to California and meet up with my Mom and two of my sisters. We had a fun time visiting with my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Loved Downtown Disney, all the shops and good food.

We saw the latest Pirates movie and the theatre in Downtown Disney.

 Visited Newport and Huntington Beaches.

 Visited my Dad's gravesite.

Was able to be in the audience for the Price is Right.
 Had fun walking around Hollywood.

The Hollywood sign is actually in the background. It was a great trip and lots of fun memories.

The boy's Accomplishments

Wow it has been way too long since I have posted. I will save the excuses, so here is my attempt to catch up.

Dylan had a great year in Lacrosse this year. He was introduced to the goalie position and impressed the coaches with his abilities. (and the fact he would continue to get hit in the shins and but would insist in playing the whole game.)
He was chosen to receive a special award that gave him and a few other goalies in the league three free private lessons with the Lacrosse coach from Ursinus. This was an award presented by a family who had a memorial fund set up when their son passed away to help other kids further their lacrosse training. Their son had loved the sport and had played through college. It was a real honor for Dylan and we were very proud of him.
Brandon had a fabulous end of the year piano recital where he received awards from some of the piano festivals and competions he had participated in.
They did it!!! Brandon and his friend Niki survived middle school and are High School bound. We had a fun celebration, thanks to my friend Chris, and yummy cake.
